This series began in 2006 when I found
myself behind the wheel more than I ever dreamed possible because my husband
could no longer drive. I’ve observed in my travels that people have a penchant
for yard art, God and Jesus. They have become everyday fixtures on the American
landscape.
Most of the images are my observations of
the Southern American landscape
The series is ongoing. Laurie
Kratochvil, formerly of Rolling Stone Magazine, Benjamin Krause of Krause
Gallery in Atlanta and Alan K. Avery of Alan K. Avery Art Company have chosen
work from this series for shows at the Atlanta Photography Group in
2006-08.
